A. The 8mm format was produced in the 1950’s. Then later, Kodak, wanting to upgrade its product, decided to enlarge the image size in width and height by reducing the size of the lateral perforation.
Q. What are the different reel sizes?
A. When full
3 inch diameter reel (7,5cm) = 50 feet
5 inch diameter reel (12,5cm) = 200 feet
7 inch diameter reel (17,5cm) = 400 feet
Q. Do you clean the films before transferring?
A. The films are cleaned with special lens cleaning cloths designed only for this use.
Q. Should I keep my films after the transfer ?
A. YES ! It is very important to keep your films because these are your originals.
Q. What is the usual processing time to have my films done ?
A. Allow about 10 to 12 working days
